WAUKESHA – Students on a school bus complained of minor injuries after an accident with another vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. A bus accident was reported southbound on Les Paul/59/164/18 north of East Sunset Drive.
Waukesha Police Capt. Dan Baumann said from preliminary information the bus made through a rear end type of collision, with another vehicle.
“The Waukesha Fire Department responded as well to make sure that all occupants involved were alright. Some kids complained of minor injuries that were on the school bus. Parents either responded to the scene or another bus responded to complete the route,” Baumann said.
Preliminary indications suggest the bus driver allegedly was distracted by kids standing up and goofing off in the back, Baumann said.
